On November 27th H.E. the Grand Commander of the Order Fra’ Emmanuel Rousseau travelled to Malta for a brief visit. Together with Ambassador Ruffo di Calabria he attended a Mass at St. John’s Co-Cathedral celebrated by Cardinal Mario Grech on occasion of the Plenary Assembly of the Council of Bishops’ Conferences of Europe (CCEE) with the participation of 40 Bishops from across Europe and an online presence by the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa O.F.M.
The following day the Grand Commander addressed the various members of the Maltese Association gathered inside the Main Hall of the Embassy of the Order during a Meeting organised by Ambassador Ruffo di Calabria. Following the Ambassador’s opening presentation, the President of the Maltese Association Daniel de Petri Testaferrata and the Grand Commander gave most interesting and relevant contributions focusing of the spiritual vocation and resonance of being a Member of the Sovereign Order.
