The Embassy of the Sovereign Order of Malta to the Republic of Malta mourns the passing of Fra’ Jean-Louis Mainguy, Professed Knight residing at Fort St Angelo, who returned to the House of the Father on 14 August 2024. The first Professed Knight from the Middle East, he dedicated his life to faith and service, leaving a lasting legacy in Malta and beyond.
On 24 June, the Embassy hosted a reception in the Knights’ Hall to celebrate the feast of St John the Baptist, Patron Saint of the Order. The event was organised by the Maltese Association and attended by distinguished guests and members of the Order.
The Embassy of the Sovereign Order of Malta is set to host the second edition of the Order of Malta National Art Exhibition. Following the success of the 2023 edition, preparations are now underway as artists deliver their works to the Maltese Association’s headquarters. The final selection will be announced by late June.
