H.E. Ambassador Ruffo di Calabria and his spouse H.S.H. Princess de Windisch Graetz hosted a dinner at their residence within the Embassy on March 26th, 2024 in honour of H.E. President George W. Vella and Mrs. Miriam Vella.
During Dr. Vella’s presidency the relations between the government of Malta and the Order of Malta have been further strengthened and, in the course of his address to the President, Ambassador Ruffo di Calabria conveyed his “sincere gratitude for the friendship and support to the Order of Malta during the past years”.
Among the several distinguished guests at the dinner to congratulate President Vella and wish him all the best following the end of his Term of Office were His Grace Archbishop Charles Jude, Archbishop Charles Jude Scicluna, the Italian Ambassador to Malta H.E. Fabrizio Romano and the Ambassador of the United States of America to Malta H.E. Constance J. Milstein.
Several days earlier, on March 23rd 2024, President Vella was received by the Grand Master of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta H.M.E.H. Fra’ John Dunlap in Rome.
