On October 6th, 2024, H.E. Ambassador Ruffo di Calabria and his spouse, H.S.H. Princess de Windisch Graetz, hosted a dinner at their residence within the Embassy in honor of H.E. President Emeritus Dr. George W. Vella.

During his presidency, Dr. Vella played a key role in strengthening the relations between the Government of Malta and the Sovereign Order of Malta. In his remarks, Ambassador Ruffo di Calabria expressed his ‘sincere gratitude for the friendship and unwavering support to the Order of Malta over the past years.

Among the several distinguished guests at the dinner were the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry for Foreign and European Affairs and Trade Mr. Christopher Cutajar, the Brigadier of the Armed Forces of Malta Mr. Clinton J. O’Neill, H.E. Comm. Anthony Miceli Demajo and Knight of Magistral Grace in Obedience Dr. Kevin Dingli.
